The broken kingdom of Alterac and the shielded ruins of Dalaran, fought over by ogres and the Syndicate.
The Alterac Mountains were once the kingdom of Alterac, whose lord, Aiden Perenolde, betrayed the Alliance to the Horde in the Second War. The kingdom was dissolved; today Crushridge ogres squat in the ruins of Alterac City, and the Syndicate of Aliden Perenolde, heir of the disgraced house, rules Strahnbrad. The rogues of Ravenholdt Manor keep their own counsel in the hills.
By Lordamere Lake lie the remains of Dalaran, the city of magi that Archimonde destroyed in the Third War. The Kirin Tor have been rebuilding it behind a magical barrier. In Forever that barrier has fallen and the city spills over with arcane chaos; it is also where the Alliance’s Skyborne arrive by airship from Zephras Isle.
