A dead, wind-torn pass dominated by Karazhan, the tower of the last Guardian, Medivh.
Deadwind Pass is a jagged canyon of petrified, leafless trees between Duskwood and the Swamp of Sorrows, and a keening wind never stops blowing through it. At its centre stands Karazhan, the ivory tower of Medivh, the last Guardian of Tirisfal, whose possession by Sargeras opened the way for the Horde. Though Medivh is long dead, his tower still leaks dark magic into the land.
Deadwind ogres, demons and restless spirits roam the pass, the graves of Morgan’s Plot lie uneasy, and travellers whisper that a new power has claimed the tower. Most people hurry through.
