New in Forever, for every trade
Food that helps you level
Most crafted food now gives a stat boost and a small experience bonus on top of its usual effect.
Merchant’s Favor
Supply crates turned in to the Azeroth Commerce Authority or to Durotar Supply and Logistics earn Merchant’s Favor. The Legacy talent Performance Bonus can double a turn-in.
A cook builds the campfire, and every profession adds objects of its own around it: buffs for everyone sitting nearby, a reagent vendor, a repair bot. 37 objects in all.
Legacy is account-wide progression, apart from any class. These 10 talents touch professions, food and camping: more skill-ups, extra results, cheaper vendors, more rare materials.
Cooking has 4 campsite kits (1, 90, 200, 300); every other profession unlocks 3 objects at skill 20, 140 and 300.
Blueprints from dungeon bosses
Advanced campsite objects are learned from Blueprints that drop from Forever dungeon bosses.
3 to 10 camp objects
A Basic Campfire holds up to 3 objects, a Journeyman Campfire 5 and an Expert Campfire 10.
60-minute rest buff
Sit, sleep, kneel or craft near the fire for 1 minute to gain a 60-minute party buff.
Shared 60-minute cooldown
Every object needs an active campfire nearby and shares a 60-minute placement cooldown.
Camp buffs and class buffs
Camp buffs act as variants of class buffs and do not stack with an identical class buff.
Learning to camp
A camper near every starting area teaches it: sit at their campfire until the rest buff comes, then a Camping 101 quest sends you to your profession’s trainer for its first object.

What Blizzard has confirmed
Per Blizzard's Deep Dive recap: professions gain over 600 new recipes; cooked food can give a small XP bonus and stats. New camping: the Cooking Fire becomes a Basic Campfire; a campsite offers vendors, repairs, profession workspaces and one-hour buffs (sit by the fire to become rested). Nearby players can add up to 3 profession objects (one each, sharing a one-hour cooldown). Each profession has 3 objects learned at different skill levels; the first from a trainer or special NPC at skill 20, advanced ones from Blueprint recipes dropped by dungeon bosses. Camp effects are variants of class buffs and do not stack with them. The Legacy system counts 150/225/300 in the six non-gathering primary professions.
Merchant’s Favor
Fill supply crates and deliver them to your faction’s commerce camp for reputation and Merchant’s Favor. High-end recipes also require reputation.
