The green heartland of the kingdom of Stormwind, where many human heroes take their first steps.
Elwynn Forest is the gentle heart of the kingdom of Stormwind: oak woods, farms and lakes around the white walls of Stormwind City, rebuilt after the Horde razed it in the First War. Novices train at Northshire Abbey, and travellers rest at the Lion’s Pride Inn in Goldshire.
The peace is thinner than it looks. Kobolds have taken the mines, Riverpaw gnolls raid the western farms, murlocs crowd the lakes, and Defias bandits spread out from neighbouring Westfall. Inside the capital, the Stockade prison has fallen to a riot of Defias inmates.
