Redridge Mountains

East of Elwynn rise the Redridge Mountains, a country of red stone, tall elms and rushing rivers that sends timber, fish and grain to Stormwind. Its chief town, Lakeshire, sits on the bank of Lake Everstill, and the crossroads of Three Corners joins it to Elwynn and Duskwood.

Peace here is fragile. Redridge gnolls raid the farms, and Blackrock orcs from the Burning Steppes have seized Stonewatch Keep and camp in Render’s Valley. Long ago the Dark Iron dwarves built a kingdom in these mountains, until Thaurissan’s summoning of Ragnaros scorched the lands to the north. In Forever, the Azeroth Commerce Authority trades at Three Corners, and passes lead east into the Riverglades.
