Stormwind’s abandoned breadbasket, now the territory of the Defias Brotherhood.
Westfall was once the breadbasket of Stormwind, a coast of golden fields and windmills. Since the Second War much of it has lain fallow, and the kingdom has had neither coin nor soldiers to spare. Into that gap stepped the Defias Brotherhood: the stonemasons who rebuilt Stormwind, turned outlaws after the nobles refused to pay them, led by Edwin VanCleef.
The Defias rule the ruined town of Moonbrook and hide a shipyard in the Deadmines beneath it, while gnolls and rogue harvest golems prey on the farms that remain. Only the People’s Militia, raised by Gryan Stoutmantle at Sentinel Hill, still stands in their way.
