Levels 35–45
A cracked desert of canyons where dwarves dig for titan secrets and the Horde watches from Kargath.
The Badlands are a cracked, sun-baked desert of boulders and winding canyons in southern Khaz Modan. Ironforge’s prospectors comb it for titan relics, drawn by Uldaman, a vast buried vault that revealed the first clues to the dwarves’ origins as beings of living stone. Troggs released from a long slumber slaughtered the first expedition and now defend its halls.
Dark Iron dwarves hold Angor Fortress, Dustbelcher ogres camp across the waste, and black dragonspawn nest in Lethlor Ravine. The Horde keeps watch from the outpost of Kargath, near the road to the Searing Gorge.
