A once-bright corner of Elwynn swallowed by endless night, held by the stubborn folk of Darkshire.
Duskwood was once the southern reach of Elwynn Forest, home to the towns now called Darkshire and Raven Hill. Then a shadow fell that has never lifted, bound up with the fate of the night elves’ Scythe of Elune. Beneath its endless dusk the trees grew gnarled, and worgen, undead and ogres from Deadwind Pass came prowling.
Stormwind has largely left the region to fend for itself. Darkshire’s Night Watch militia guards the main road, Raven Hill Cemetery fills with the restless dead, and deep in the woods the Twilight Grove shelters a great tree and a portal to the Emerald Dream.
