Stormwind's prison, seized by its own inmates in a riot led by the Defias.
The Stockade sits in the heart of Stormwind City and holds thieves, murderers and political prisoners. Not long ago the inmates rose up, revealed their loyalty to the Defias Brotherhood and drove out the guards; now they run the cell blocks themselves.
Their ringleader is Bazil Thredd, a Defias agent. Among the prisoners are the Blackrock orc Targorr the Dread, the Dark Iron dwarf Kam Deepfury and the grave robber Dextren Ward. Several were condemned to death, but noble red tape kept stalling the sentences, so Lakeshire, Darkshire and even Ironforge quietly send adventurers in to settle the matter.
