A great furbolg city behind a long-sealed gate in Azshara, where the Blackmaw clan fights a spreading corruption.
Behind a gate in Azshara that stayed shut for a very long time lies a great city of the furbolgs. The Blackmaw clan who live there are fighting a corruption that is seeping through their groves and along the winding tunnels under the mountains.
The hold is a long adventure for groups at the level cap, with several routes and many bosses. Its deepest reaches are said to hide a way leading even further beneath Azeroth, and Blizzard's raid overview lists Blackmaw Hold as one of the ways into the Barrow Deeps.
