Once enslaved by demon blood, the orcs were freed by Thrall and now rebuild their honor in the red land of Durotar.
Orcs came to Azeroth from Draenor as the Horde, driven by demon blood and by Gul'dan's warlocks. Defeated in the Second War, they wasted away in internment camps until Thrall, son of the Frostwolf chieftain Durotan, freed them and restored the shamanic ways of their ancestors.
After the Third War, Thrall led his people to Kalimdor and founded Durotar and its capital, Orgrimmar, where the warchief now rules a Horde shared with the tauren, the Darkspear trolls and the Forsaken. Orcs are proud, direct and fiercely loyal, yet their bloody past lingers in the Burning Blade cultists of Durotar and in the Blackrock clan that never joined Thrall. New orcs begin in the Valley of Trials. In Forever orcs can also become mages.
