Doomhammer

Forged long ago on Draenor, the great black-stoned hammer passed from father to son within a single orc family, and an old Blackrock prophecy hung over it: the last of the line would bring the orcs first salvation and then doom, before a stranger raised the hammer for justice. Orgrim Doomhammer wielded it in the First and Second Wars and struck down Anduin Lothar with it, shattering the knight’s runeblade.

After the Horde’s defeat, Orgrim escaped captivity and fought to free his people from the internment camps. Mortally wounded in one of those battles, he gave the hammer to Thrall, who was neither of his clan nor of his blood. Thrall carried it as the symbol of a reborn Horde, and the prophecy found its stranger.
