Skyborne: High Order

Told only from World of Warcraft: Forever’s own sources.
Forever's new people from Zephras Isle, an island floating in the Elemental Plane of Air; the High Order stand with the Alliance.
The Skyborne are the new playable people of World of Warcraft: Forever, and the High Order is the branch that stands with the Alliance. Their home is Zephras Isle, an island floating in Skywall, the Elemental Plane of Air, ruled by High Elder Talaanis Shadowsong, with the town of Valanaar as its main settlement. The air elementals who once lived on the island with the Skyborne vanished centuries ago, its sustaining magic is fading, and contact with the sister islands of Anvilas and Siroccas has been lost as refugees flee to Zephras.
High Order adventurers leave the isle by airship from Valanaar to Dalaran in the Alterac Mountains. They may be warriors, hunters, rogues, druids or mages, and they are the only Skyborne who study the arcane. Their gifts reflect their home: they glide down on the wind, act with quickened haste, strike elementals harder, and read nearby ley lines to restore health and mana. Playing them requires the optional Skyborne Heroic or Epic Pack.

What the sources do not say yet

These gaps are left open instead of being filled in.
Where the Skyborne came from and how their two orders formed are not described in the sources this guide uses (the Zephras Isle and Forever wiki pages, racial pages and Blizzard posts).
Why Zephras Isle's air elementals vanished, and how the Skyborne came to join the Alliance and the Horde, is not explained there either.
