Humans descend from the tribes that King Thoradin united into Arathor nearly three thousand years before the Dark Portal. Arathor’s heirs founded the seven human kingdoms, the elves taught their first magi, and their faith in the Holy Light later gave rise to the paladins. Humanity carried the Alliance through the First, Second and Third Wars, and paid dearly: Stormwind burned once, and Lordaeron fell to the Scourge.

In year 25 Stormwind is the heart of human power, rebuilt in white stone yet troubled by the Defias, the missing King Varian and a royal court under the spell of Lady Prestor. New humans begin at Northshire Abbey in Elwynn Forest. Forever lets humans become hunters, a calling the original game kept for other races.
