Dwarf

Dwarves are stubborn, warm-hearted and born of stone: their ancestors were the earthen, titan-forged guardians changed by the curse of flesh. Ironforge, carved into a mountain in Dun Morogh, has been their capital for ages. The War of the Three Hammers split the clans; the Bronzebeards held the city, the Wildhammers settled the Hinterlands and the Dark Irons fell into Ragnaros' service.

Under King Magni Bronzebeard the dwarves have fought in every war of the Alliance, and the Explorers' League, in which his brother Brann is a leading figure, digs through titan ruins such as Uldaman in search of the dwarves' origins. Magni's daughter Moira has become the wife of the Dark Iron emperor, a wound the king takes personally. Forever adds the Hall of Thanes beneath Ironforge, the resting place of dwarven monarchs, now broken into by intruders thought to be Dark Irons, and dwarves may walk the path of the shaman.
