Gnome

Gnomes are small in stature and enormous in ingenuity. Their ancestors, the mechagnomes, were titan-forged machines later afflicted by the curse of flesh, which turned them into living beings. In Dun Morogh they built Gnomeregan, a city of gears and steam, and became firm allies of the dwarves of nearby Ironforge, fighting beside them in the Second War.

That city is lost. Troggs surged up from below, and Mekgineer Sicco Thermaplugg’s advice to flood Gnomeregan with radiation poisoned it instead; many gnomes died, and some survivors became twisted leper gnomes. High Tinker Gelbin Mekkatorque led the rest into exile in Ironforge, while Thermaplugg rules the ruins. Forever opens the priesthood to gnomes for the first time.
