Mulgore

Mulgore is the ancestral grassland of the tauren, a green bowl of plains and mesas walled in by mountains, with a single pass east into the Barrens. For generations the nomadic tauren were harried by centaur, until Thrall’s Horde helped High Chieftain Cairne Bloodhoof bring his people home. Here they raised their first lasting settlements: Bloodhoof Village and the capital of Thunder Bluff, built atop towering mesas linked by rope bridges.
