The harsh red coast Thrall named for his father, where the orcs built Orgrimmar.
When Thrall led the Horde to Kalimdor, he claimed this sun-cracked stretch of eastern coast and named it Durotar after his father, Durotan. Its red earth and stony canyons reminded the orcs of Draenor. They drove the quilboar from the land and raised Orgrimmar, named for Orgrim Doomhammer, in a mountain hollow to the north.
Young orcs and trolls prove themselves in the Valley of Trials before moving on to Razor Hill. On the coast, the Darkspear trolls hold Sen’jin Village after the witch doctor Zalazane enslaved their kin on the Echo Isles, and Kul Tiran soldiers linger at Tiragarde Keep. Cultists of the Burning Blade lurk in the hills, and their sister cult, the Searing Blade, hides in Ragefire Chasm beneath the capital.
