Masters of fel magic and bound demons, warlocks came to Azeroth with the Horde and walk a narrow line between power and ruin.
Warlocks draw power from fel magic and bind demons to their will. The craft came to Azeroth with the Horde: Kil'jaeden taught it to Gul'dan, whose Shadow Council turned the orc shaman into warlocks and drained Draenor's life to fuel their spells. Death knights and the curse of demon blood were among its darkest fruits.
Not every warlock serves the Legion. Human warlocks gather in secret beneath the Slaughtered Lamb tavern in Stormwind, gnomes and Forsaken study the art, and Thrall’s Horde tolerates its orc warlocks warily. Every warlock walks the same line: the power is real, and so is the risk of being consumed by it. In Forever trolls may also become warlocks.
