Druid

Druids guard the balance of nature and can take the shapes of beasts. Malfurion Stormrage learned the art from the demigod Cenarius and became the first druid; his followers slept for centuries in the Emerald Dream while the Sentinels kept watch over the night elves’ forests. The Cenarion Circle, based in the sacred glade of Moonglade, now gathers druids of every race.

After the Third War, Malfurion taught the tauren the druidic arts, and Hamuul Runetotem became the first tauren druid. In year 25 druids face grave worries: the World Tree Nordrassil is wounded, Teldrassil grew without the Aspects’ blessing, and a nightmare is spreading through the Emerald Dream. In Forever both Skyborne orders count druids among their people.
