Hunter

Hunters live by the bow, the gun and the bond with a beast. The rangers of Quel'Thalas, led for generations by the Windrunner family, guarded the elven forests; dwarven riflemen and the Wildhammers' gryphon riders fought in the Second War; night elf Sentinels and troll headhunters stalk the woods of Kalimdor and Stranglethorn.

Some of the story’s most stubborn survivors are hunters. Alleria Windrunner marched beyond the Dark Portal and never returned, her sister Sylvanas fought Arthas to her last breath, and the beastmaster Rexxar became the Horde’s champion against Daelin Proudmoore. In Forever humans may take up the calling as well, and both Skyborne orders count hunters among their people.
