Quel'Serrar

Quel'Serrar is one of the prismatic blades that night elf smiths forged long ago with the aid of the dragonflights; its twin, Quel'Delar, was given to the high elves. For thousands of years the Shen'dralar of Eldre'Thalas kept it, waiting for a wielder strong enough to wake it.

In the original game, a warrior or paladin who found an old compendium on dragon slaying brought it to Lorekeeper Lydros in the library of Dire Maul and received an unfired blade. Heated by Onyxia’s deep breath and plunged into the slain dragon, the steel became Quel'Serrar once it was returned to Lydros.
