Drakefire Amulet

Legendary items

1 min read

Onyxia's broken charm, remade with a black dragon's blood into the key to her own lair.

Disguised as Lady Katrana Prestor, Onyxia worked her way into Stormwind’s court with a pendant called the Dragon’s Eye. It did not command minds outright, yet it stirred hidden desires and turned suspicion away from her. When Marshal Windsor exposed the masquerade, the pendant shattered, and the blue dragon Haleh remade its pieces, with the blood of General Drakkisath, into the Drakefire Amulet.

Horde heroes reach the same amulet by another road, through Rexxar and the trials of the ancient drake Emberstrife. Every raider who enters Onyxia’s Lair must carry it, and Forever keeps this attunement as a separate questline for each faction.
