Quel'dorei

Glossary
1 min read
The high elves of Quel'Thalas, heirs of the exiled Highborne.
Nearly seven thousand years before the Dark Portal, exiled Highborne crossed the sea, founded Quel'Thalas and kindled the Sunwell. They allied with the humans of Arathor in the Troll Wars and taught them magic. When Arthas’s Scourge ravaged their kingdom and fouled the Sunwell, most survivors took a new name in memory of their dead: the sin'dorei, or blood elves.
