Onyxia's Lair

In the Wyrmbog of Dustwallow Marsh, Onyxia, daughter of Deathwing and sister of Nefarian, guards her brood in a cavern of fire. Her greater weapon is deceit. Wearing human form as Lady Katrana Prestor, she whispers at the court of Stormwind and works to turn the mortal kingdoms against one another.

Forty players face her in a three-phase battle of flame, so raids gather fire resistance first. Each member must also carry the Drakefire Amulet, earned through a long quest chain: the Alliance through Marshal Windsor's escape from Blackrock Depths and the unmasking at Stormwind, the Horde through Rexxar and the drake Emberstrife, both ending with General Drakkisath in Upper Blackrock Spire.
