Unpaid Stormwind stonemasons turned bandits under Edwin VanCleef.

The Stonemasons’ Guild rebuilt Stormwind after the Second War, but the nobles refused to pay them. Their leader, Edwin VanCleef, led the angry masons into Westfall and forged them into the Defias Brotherhood, a gang of thieves and saboteurs hidden in the Deadmines. In Forever, its members also turn up inside Alcaz Prison, locked in a struggle with the naga.
