Old Gods

Glossary

1 min read

Ancient beings of the Void that buried themselves in Azeroth to corrupt its world-soul.

Long before mortals walked the world, the Old Gods, among them C'Thun, Yogg-Saron, N'Zoth and Y'Shaarj, crashed into Azeroth and raised a Black Empire. Tearing Y'Shaarj out wounded the world itself, so the titans chose to imprison the others underground instead. Their whispers still drive cults like the Twilight’s Hammer, and C'Thun stirs beneath Ahn'Qiraj in Silithus.
