Kel'Thuzad's cult of the Lich King, which promised eternal life and delivered the plague.
The archmage Kel'Thuzad turned his back on the Kirin Tor to study necromancy and gathered the poor and desperate of Lordaeron with promises of a better, deathless life. The cult hid the Lich King’s plague in shipments of grain, turning whole villages into Scourge. Its necromancers still teach at the Scholomance, in the Barov family’s old keep of Caer Darrow.
