PvP in Forever: Honor, ranks and the Darkspear Islands

Honor comes from defeating players, completing battlegrounds and relevant PvP quests. The holiday-week battleground gives more Honor.

Honor gains across battlegrounds were reviewed to be more consistent, so one battleground (e.g. Alterac Valley) is not the clear best choice.

Rank Points come from battlegrounds and PvP quests. You climb the original PvP ranks towards High Warlord (Horde) or Grand Marshal (Alliance); ranks have a weekly cap.

Track progress in the Character pane (C) → Player vs. Player tab on the right: your rank, Rank Points and the rewards open at your rank.

Honor buys two PvP sets: one blue, one epic. An epic piece needs the blue piece plus an Emboldened Seal; seals have rank requirements.

New or reworked items fill specialization gaps; Shaman have separate healer, melee and caster PvP sets.

Rank 1 and 6: tabard · 2: PvP trinket · 3: cloaks · 4: necklace · 5: combat potions · 7: Battle Standard · 8: epic bracers/belt upgrade token · 9: epic boots token · 10: epic gloves token · 11: mounts · 12: epic legs/shoulders token · 13: epic chest/helm token · 14: epic weapons.

Each PvP season you advance in rank and earn Honor; the season's weekly task journey grants Honor and Rank Points.

Three tasks per season also grant a Legacy Point; being tied to the Legacy system, they stay available in later seasons.

A new battleground off the shores of Dustwallow Marsh for levels 30–60: the Darkspear Raiders (Horde) against the Theramore Expeditionary Force (Alliance).

Four capture points: the more you hold, the faster your score grows. Carrying the central flag to a base you hold gives extra points. First to 2000 points wins.

Queue at a battlemaster in any capital or the Barrens, or through the portal at the Merchant Coast (Horde) / Northwatch (Alliance) base.

Each side has its own reputation: thresholds open vendors with trinkets, rings, cloaks, weapons and armor; reputation quests give Marks of Honor; at Exalted a short questline unlocks the faction tabard.
